Sad news for fans of the Spanish thriller teen drama series ‘Elite’, created by Netflix. After the fourth season, two more protagonists will be leaving the cast as occurred in the fourth season. It is time to say goodbye to Itzán Escamilla and Omar Ayuso who will not return as Samuel and Omar for the 5th season.
In an interview with Hola !, Escamilla talked about Samuel’s farewell.
“At the same time that I wanted to end my participation, it is clear that I will miss it. It has been like going to school: you go, get involved and then you will miss it, even if you want to do other things ”, he declared.
It is worth remembering that Danna Paola, Ester Expposto, Jorge López, Álvaro Rico and Mina El Hammani do not return as Lu, Carla, Valerio, Polo and Nadia for the 4th season, which is expected to be released in March 2021.
Danna Paola did not like the paths of her character in the third season and asked to leave the series, signing a contract to return to the series she had participated in, ‘La Doña’. Ester Expposto also does not return as well. She stars the new Netflix miniseries called ‘Alguien Tiene que Morir’ (Someone needs to die).
After announcing the new members of the 4th season of ‘Elite’, Netflix released promotional images that feature the newly cast Pol Granch, Martina Cariddi, Carla Díaz, and Manu Rios.
Netflix didn’t release so far any information about the plot of the 5th season, the new characters and their storylines. Let’s see what it’s going on next year in Las Encinas.
