The best trick or treat we could have this Halloween is to see the fabulous and lovely witches Winifred, Sarah and Mary Sanderson getting together in an special event as tribute to Hocus Pocus, a classic horror fantasy movie, released in 1993, that became an iconic pop culture film.
The trio of actresses Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler and Kathy Najimy have reunited to film the virtual event called “In Search of the Sanderson Sisters: A Hocus Pocus Hulaween Takeover”.
Described as the “hottest pandemic-safe Halloween event of the year”, the online event will be in aid of the New York Restoration Project, an organisation founded by Midler in 1995 to transform outdoor spaces in the city.
Bette Midler took the chance to document on her Instagram’s profile this fantastic moment for the film fans. This is the first time we`ve seen the sisters together in costume since the 1993 film.
The reunion is taking place on 30th of October in a one- night-only event. It is set to start at 8.00pm EST (1am in the UK / Ireland). You can buy your ticket to the event for $10 here.
