HBO Max has released the official trailer for the dark comedy and thriller “Made For Love” series. The new streaming show is adapted from Alyssa Nutting’s 2018 novel of the same name. The eight-episode TV adaptation stars Cristin Milioti, Billy Magnussen, Ray Romano, Noma Dumezweni, Augusto Aguilera and Caleb Foote.
The series depicts the story of Hazel Green, played by the always wonderful Cristin Milioti (“Modern Love”, “How I met your mother” and “Palm Springs”), a woman who is escaping from the confinement after 10 years of toxic marriage to the tech billionaire Byron Gogol, played by Magnussen(“Black Mirror” and “Tell me a story”). It is when she finds out that her husband has implanted a monitoring device in her brain, called “Made for Love”, which allows his company to follow her wherever she goes, and especially her feelings. How could she gets away from her controlling ex-husband?
Stephanie Laing directed the pilot and is a co-executive producer. The season was directed by Laing and Alethea Jones.
“Made For Love” debuts on 1st April on HBO Max streaming.
