The most famous cat and mouse from animated TV ‘Tom & Jerry’ are coming in a thrilling animated/live-action hybrid film in the early 2021. According to Warner Bros, the synopsis follows Jerry’s presence at a hotel puts at risk a glamorous marriage of the year. Kayla (Chloë Grace Moretz), a new employee at a hotel, is tasked by her boss to get rid of Jerry before the wedding party. So, she hires the alley cat Tom to dispose of the clever rodent, but her plan is not that easy, and Tom & Jerry play their classic cat-and-mouse game. At a certain point of the story, Tom, Jerry, and Kayla decide to team up against Kayla’s tyrannical manager Terrance (Michael Peña).
Directed by Tim Story, written by Kevin Costello, starring Chloë Grace Moretz, Michael Peña, Rob Delaney, Colin Jost and Ken Jeong.
Tom & Jerry movie is set to debut in theatres on March 5th, 2021.
Warner Bros. seems confident with the early 2021 release date.
